Make a light come on
Press the button and the red light comes on.
- 1Tap the battery, then tap the resistor.
- 2Tap the resistor, then the red light.
- 3Tap the red light, then the button — and the button, then the battery.
NOW Tap the battery, then tap the resistor.
What to look for: Hold the button down and the red light glows. Let go and it goes dark.
Why it works: Electricity needs a whole circle to run around: out of the battery, through everything, and back into the battery. The button is a gap in that circle. Hold it down and the circle is closed, so the light comes on.
