Two lights on one path
Put both lights on one path and watch them share.
- 1Tap the battery, then the big resistor.
- 2Tap the resistor, then the red light, then the green light.
- 3Tap the green light, then the battery.
NOW Tap the battery, then the big resistor.
What to look for: Both lights glow — and both are dimmer than one light on its own. They are sharing.
Why it works: Both lights are on the same path, so the same electricity has to go through one and then the other. The battery's push gets shared between them. Two lights sharing one push each get less, so both are dimmer.
