Two lights, two paths
Give each light its own path and they both go bright.
- 1Make the red light's path: battery, resistor, red light, battery.
- 2Make the green light's own path with the other resistor.
- 3Look at them both.
NOW Make the red light's path: battery, resistor, red light, battery.
What to look for: Both lights are bright now. Each one has its own way home, so neither has to share.
Why it works: Each light has its own path from the battery and back again. Neither one has to share, so each one gets the whole push and glows bright. The battery just works twice as hard.
